When the Cincinnati Public School system was looking for a solution to protect their air conditioning units from continued vandalization, they decided to stop using chain link and switch to expanded metal at one of their facilities.
According to Mills Vice President John Lyttle, "After seeing several instances where the chain link enclosures had been cut and entered, we have been offering expanded metal to our customers as an upgrade in security over chain link.
